The Inspection System consists of a random schedule of inspections an objective point system for measuring performance and computerized record keeping of each employee's inspection scores. The obvious objective of the inspection system is quality assurance. In addition, however, there are two other equally valid objectives of the inspection system. These are:
•Employee development.
•Objective measurements of performance.
