After census is done for the day and the discharges are performed, the user can input the necessary information in order to obtain Productivity for the day. Below are the columns and their descriptions.
Assignment – This column shows the assignments that are also census assignments.
Total DC – This column shows the total discharges to be done for the day for each assignment.
DC Done – This column shows as the discharges done for the day. The user enters the data in each of the fields here.
DC Pending – This column shows the discharges that were not finished or pending. The system automatically computes the values based on the data entered in the DC Done column.
Flex Time – This column computes the Flex Time. The user must enter the necessary values if an employee left early or had some other tasks that affected his/her productivity. For example, if an employee leaves 60 minutes early, the user enters 60 minutes for Flex Time and the productivity will be adjusted
Project Time – This column works similar to Flex Time except that it deals with Project (Work) Time. If an employee also performs project work in addition to the discharges perform, his/her productivity must be greater because of the extra work he/she performed. For example: Suppose an employee can do four discharges (Discharges Pending column) and each discharge takes 25 minutes. The employee takes care of two discharges and does 50 minutes of project work. Because of the time balance, Productivity comes out be 100 percent.
Minutes Remaining – This column shows the amount of time available for (possible) additional work. The figures in this column are calculated by the system.
Productivity – This column shows the Productivity for each census assignment. The system will automatically adjust the data in this column depending on what the employee has done for the day.
As was mentioned in the description of the columns above, Discharges (DC) Done, Flex Time, and Project Time are the only columns the user needs to update. After changes are made to the mentioned columns, it is wise to save your changes – click on the Save button after making your changes.
