Editing roles is changing the level of access. Below are the steps to edit roles:
1. Open
the Role & Access Rights form by clicking on the Users button and selecting
the Set Role option. You will open
the figure below:
2. Select the role to be edited from the Roles List shown in the figure above.
3. Click
on the Edit button or on the role
name to open the following figure:
4. Click on the check box(s) to specify what access (Read, Add, Edit, Delete, and All Rights) the role has as shown in the figure below:
This shows that the role has full access to the Home and ES Menu and some access to Master Files and other sections and reports.
5. After
you are satisfied with the changes, click on the Save button. To cancel, click on the Undo button
.
6. Click
on the Close button to return to the
Roles List.
7. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for all other roles to be edited.
NOTE: Please contact ES Optimizer Tech Support for more information before making changes with the certain roles. There needs to be one role that has total access to all ES Optimizer functionality or you risk locking all the users out.
