Daily Sign-In Sheets

The Daily Sign-In Sheet serves as a final check to ensure you have all of your assignments are covered.  This document lists all the assignments that need to be covered on a daily basis.  The supervisor takes the Days-Off Roster and fills in the personnel that are scheduled to work for the day the sign in sheet covers.  If there are any missing personnel it becomes readily apparent and very quickly.

It is a good idea to fill out the Daily Sign-In Sheet at least one day in advance.  Ideally, it should be filled out in pencil a week in advance.  Then if any added personnel are needed they don't have to be called "at the last minute."

The Daily Sign-In Sheet also serves several purposes.  First, it documents employee attendance.  By the end of the daily check, the supervisor will know at a glance which assignments are uncovered.  Keys and pagers can also be signed out on the same sheet.  Finally, it streamlines the check in process.  Obviously, the quicker your EVS Techs leave the check-in area the faster they will be performing productive work.
