While modifying a user’s configuration, admin users can change another user’s password or reset their password. Below are the differences between changing and resetting passwords:
Change Password – This will allow the user to change the password, WITHOUT being prompted to change it again when they first log in.
•Must have Old Password
•Will not be prompted to update password
Reset Password – This will allow an admin to reset the password
•Does NOT require OLD password
•Admin enters temporary password
•User will be required to change password when they first log into either the Web app or iOS device.
•New Password will be then stored.
